I know there is many threads already active on the subject but I feel if we talk about it enough we might get a response of some kind (lets hope they dont start locking us up)
TL;DR :: Rant about system freezing.
Before anyone of you decide to inform me; IGÇÖve already tried the many solutions CCP and the community have suggested to fix the issues. Deleted all system files and reinstalled the game many times with no luck....
So with not a single word on the matter from CCP, its gotta be down to the game has been very poorly optimised for the PS3; causing many of our systems to encounter freezing while we can still hear our mates talking, systems crashing going to a black screening, DCing from PSN and many people seem to get the dreaded fatal error.
IGÇÖve read many forums on the topic of systems freezing up with other games and it all seems to be down to poor optimisation which in the long run cause serious and long term damage to the system/memory at hand. In the many topics IGÇÖve read on the problems with Dust, it seems that all other games run perfectly fine and it is indeed Dust that is the problem!
A new Consumer Rights Bill specifically aimed at digital downloaded titles is being issued soon in the UK that will entitle the consumer to specific rights that game producers and developers must adhere to.
One of is specifically aimed at; to supply a replacement for any hardware that, their product may cause to a consumerGÇÖs device i.e. what Dust 514 does to a PS3...... Now I haven't read the document entirely but I was wondering how CCP would feel to replace anyone system that Dust has cause damage to ?
With the problems and many system crashes I'm encountering, many other people myself included are starting to get worried about the health of our systems. Now IGÇÖm not sure if fatal errors are the same issues causing freezing but it would be nice for some official word from CCP to say something about why its happening or how they are going about fixing it.
CCP can we have some feedback about these system crashes, freezes and errors?
Why is it happening?
What are you guys doing to iron out the issues?
When can we expect a solution to be deployed soon (not SOONGäó)?
Can't you do more regular hotfixes to slowly iron out the issues?
I dont expect you to answer all of these but please at least give us something.
